Jan Willem Campmans (1982) is a visual artist who lives in the city of Utrecht, the Netherlands. He's the proud father of 3 sons and likes to play some guitar in his spare time. He drinks his coffee with two lumps of sugar.
His paintings and drawings have a versatile, expressive and personal style. Jan Willem works both autonomously and commissioned. In 2008 he graduated from HKU in Utrecht majoring in fine art. He also teaches art courses ranging from primary schools to art academies.
He's the founder and creative director of the LiGHT-UP collective. A platform that focuses on drawing with light, projection mapping and interactive installations. LiGHT-UP is always working on unique ways of combining traditional forms of art with innovative new media concepts in playful and interactive ways.
